Nonprofit Strategic Planning is a blog and information site to help all those involved in nonprofit organizations learn more about strategic planning, board development and fundraising. 

Created and updated by Liam Abramson, the founder and CEO of HighgateGlobal, a  consultancy specializing in the nonprofit industry with a special emphasis on arts organizations. Working with clients including the Boston Children’s Chorus, Emmanuel Music, the Charlestown Working Theater and Project STEP, Liam has helped these organization develop an integrated strategic plan that allows them to build their board, plan their fundraising initiatives and make their mission ever more relevant and focussed. In addition, Liam has worked with many nonprofit and foundation grantees boards such as the Risa Rosengard Foundation, ‘e’ inc and the Shapiro Family Foundation, helping them highlight gaps, improve processes and recruit new members for increased sustainability. Liam has published in print over 100 articles on all aspects of the arts business including business book reviews and organizational profiles. HighgateGlobal has grown steadily over the years and Liam works closely with his team of three associates to provide expertise, experience and knowledge to all their clients.
